Welcome to the Irish Division of IADR

The Annual Irish Division Meeting will be held in Dublin on Friday 14th October.

This year for the first time we are pleased to announce a new sponsor (RCSI) for the Clinical Prize. For the next five years the Division has secured significant monies to support the IADR/RCSI Post graduate Clinical Prize (formally the 3M ESPE Clinical Prize). The Division would like to extend their gratitude to Dr Gerard Kearns (RCSI) for the sponsorship and for securing the standing of this competition for the next five years. An additional prize, namely the 3M ESPE Health Research in Primary Care Award has also been added to further support research in Primary Care.

The closing date for abstracts has been extended from Friday 23rd September to 17.00 hrs Tuesday 27th September.

This years Irish Division Senior Hatton entrant Svetislav Zaric (Queens University Belfast) although not recognized by the judges should also be commended for his efforts in San Diego.

  • The IADR David. B. Scott Fellowship was this year awarded to the Irish Division and the award recipient was Kate Hogan (Cork University Dental Hospital) and our congratulations on behalf of the Irish Division go to Kate on her achievement.
